Do you accept insurance?

Yes — I'm in-network with UnitedHealthcare and Optum, so if you have one of those plans, sessions are billed directly to your insurance. For all other plans, I'm an out-of-network provider: I do not bill those carriers directly, but I provide monthly Superbills (itemized receipts) you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. What if you're not in-network with my insurance?

For plans other than UnitedHealthcare and Optum, I work as an out-of-network provider. Staying out-of-network for those carriers means your care isn't limited by required diagnoses, session caps, or the administrative constraints some panels impose — so therapy stays fully personalized to you. I provide monthly Superbills (itemized receipts) for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Do you offer reduced rates?

Yes — a limited number of reduced-rate slots are available at $100–$125 per session for clients who qualify based on financial need. Please mention this on our consultation call and we can discuss whether a reduced rate may be available.

Question 4

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

I accept credit and debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee, with exceptions made for emergencies.

What are your office hours?

In-person sessions are available Tuesday through Thursday, 9am–3pm. Telehealth sessions are available Monday through Friday, 9am–3pm, for residents of Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida.

Where is your office?

My office is located at 1550 North Mount Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122 — approximately 20 miles east of Nashville. Free parking is available.

Can I bring my baby to sessions?

Yes — babies are always welcome in my office. I understand that childcare can be a significant barrier to accessing support, and I don't want that to stand between you and the help you need.

What types of clients do you see?

Accepted Answer

I specialize in perinatal and reproductive mental health — meaning pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and pregnancy and infant loss. I see individuals and couples navigating these experiences, as well as grief, life transitions, and trauma that may be connected to or separate from reproductive health.

Do I have to have a goal or know what I want to work on before starting?

Not at all. Many clients come in knowing only that something doesn't feel right. Part of the early work of therapy is figuring out together what you're carrying and what kind of support will be most helpful. You don't need a clear agenda to start.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

Accepted Answer

This varies enormously depending on what you're working on. Some clients find significant relief in 8–12 sessions. Others work together for many months. We'll discuss your goals and check in regularly about how things are progressing. There's no minimum or maximum — you are always in control of how long we work together.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential. There are a small number of legal exceptions — including if I have reason to believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, or if I am court-ordered to release records. I will discuss confidentiality and its limits in detail in our first session.

Question 13

What are your rights as a therapy client?

Accepted Answer

You have the right to receive care that is respectful, competent, and free of discrimination. You have the right to know your diagnosis, to participate in treatment decisions, to end therapy at any time, and to request a referral if you feel we are not a good fit. You also have the right under federal law to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning services.
