Pregnancy &
Infant Loss Therapy
Grief that deserves care, understanding, and support
"We bereaved are not alone. We belong to the largest company in all the world; the company of those who have known suffering." — Helen Keller
A Grief Like No Other
Pregnancy and infant loss can be profoundly painful and disorienting. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, expected or sudden, it leaves a deep emotional imprint.
Society often minimizes this type of loss, expecting you to "move on" before you have even had a chance to breathe. You may be carrying shock, anger, guilt, numbness, or a longing that feels impossible to put into words.
Therapy offers a compassionate, steady space to acknowledge what you’ve lost—and to tend to the impact it has had on your life, your body, and your sense of self.
Loss Can Take Many Forms
We provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all experiences of loss, including:
Miscarriage & Early Loss: Including chemical pregnancies, blighted ovum, and ectopic pregnancies.
Stillbirth: The devastating loss of a baby before or during delivery.
TFMR (Termination for Medical Reasons): Compassionate, non-political support for heartbreaking medical decisions.
Neonatal Loss: Loss of a baby shortly after birth.
Pregnancy After Loss (PAL): Navigating the unique anxiety and fear of a subsequent pregnancy.
Pregnancy Decision Support: Compassionate, non-judgmental counseling for those coping with emotional responses following a pregnancy termination or loss.
There Is No "Right" Way to Grieve
No matter the circumstances, loss can feel isolating. You do not have to "get over it" on anyone else's timeline. In our sessions, we often address:
Grief Waves: Sadness that feels constant or comes in unpredictable waves.
Disconnection: Feeling detached from your body or the world around you.
The "Why": Wrestling with guilt, self-blame, or unanswered questions.
Fear: Anxiety around future pregnancies or medical appointments.
Invisibility: The pain of feeling like your loss is invisible to the rest of the world.
The night can feel endless, but you don't have to wait for the light alone.
